The MacConsult Story
My education and employment background is in biological research. I began using Macs on a daily basis while working in a lab at UC San Diego in 1988 after having dabbled with friends’ Macs a bit previously. Within a week (no exaggeration), I’d become the unofficial, unpaid Macintosh instructor/troubleshooter/consultant. I continued in this capacity during my time at UCSD and in two biotech startups into the middle of 1994. That’s when I decided to leave the lab behind and become a full-time Mac consultant.
A relationship brought me to Jacksonville, FL, in late 1998, where I’ve been ever since. The relationship is ancient history, but the business lives on.
